CALL FOR AWARD NOMINATIONS The 46th National DHIA annual meeting will be held at the Intercontinental New Orleans, New Orleans, Louisiana, March 16-17, 2011. You are invited to nominate candidates for the National DHIA H. Victor Joachim Distinguished Leadership Award/Martin A. Wilson Memorial Award. The award will be presented on Wednesday evening, March 16, during the National DHIA Awards and Scholarship banquet. Please share this information with colleagues who may be interested in submitting nominations. Only those DHI affiliates that are members of National DHIA may submit nominations. As was discussed at the 2010 National DHIA Annual Meeting, the H. Victor Joachim Distinguished Leadership Award and Martin A. Wilson Memorial Award have been combined. This award will be presented at annual meetings held during odd years. The National DHIA Outstanding Service Award will be presented at annual meetings held during even years. National DHIA H. Victor Joachim Distinguished Leadership/Martin A. Wilson Memorial Award is presented to a DHIA dairy producer who has been a leader in DHIA or the dairy industry, and rendered outstanding and unselfish service for many years, as well as making a notable contribution to advancing DHIA in the United States; or, is a worthy person who has been employed in a DHI management position for at least five years and has been dedicated to improving DHIA.
